Full Diagnostic Assessments
As I hold an APC (assessment practising certificate), I am able to undertake comprehensive diagnostic assessments for Dyslexia, which can be used for disabled support allowance (DSA).
My full diagnostic assessments cost £500. These will be carried out using a number of different assessments to determine underlying ability, spelling, writing, reading, working memory, phonological awareness and speed of processing. This will take approximately three hours, but can be carried out over two 90 minute sessions if this is preferred.
Please note that I will require a £100 deposit for assessments, with the remaining fee to be paid the day before the assessment is conducted.

Shorter English Assessment
I offer a shorter, focused assessment covering core literacy and core maths skills. The literacy component takes approximately 1.5 hours and explores key cognitive areas including language, memory, and phonological processing, alongside reading, writing, and spelling. You will receive a streamlined report outlining strengths, areas for development, and tailored recommendations. Please note that this assessment does not provide a diagnostic conclusion. The cost is £300.
Shorter Maths Assessment
I also offer a shorter maths assessment that explores key cognitive areas such as memory, processing, and language, alongside core number skills. These include counting, number bonds, estimation, subitising, place value, mathematical fluency, understanding magnitude, and a brief 15minute maths test. You will receive a concise report outlining strengths, areas for development, and practical recommendations. Please note that this assessment does not diagnose maths difficulties or dyscalculia. The assessment takes approximately two hours and costs £300.
